
The OINP recognizes and nominates people for permanent residence who have the skills and experience the Ontario economy needs, and the Government of Canada makes the final decision to approve applications for permanent residence.
The OINP uses two intake systems to manage applications. Before you can apply to the program, you must register in either the Expression of Interest system or the Express Entry system to let the OINP know you wish to be invited to apply. The OINP has 9 streams you may qualify for.

Using a Representative
You can submit an application to the OINP on your own or appoint a paid representative to do so on your behalf.By law only certain professionals may act as paid representatives.
Authorizing a representative to assist you can be helpful but is not necessary. Contact us for an analysis of the best stream for your individual case.
